Desk Calendar
Desk calendars are usually found on a... er well... desk! But many of us have desks at home as well as work.
Even if the desk is just the corner of the kitchen table and the place where we put the bills as they come in. But that may be where you keep your desk calendar.
A useful type of desk calendar is one that allows you to write or make notes in the dates, so you know when you have appointments, when your bills are due or for parties and celebrations. Many bought calenders have national holidays, Saints days and religious dates.
If it is a bought calender it may have pictures of kittens looking cute, wild flowers with their latin names or your favorite singer or band.
If it is a handmade calendar, it may have been a gift with photographs of friends or family or a summer trip somewhere special.
